Are these huge yachts capable of weathering a mid-Atlantic storm? They just look a bit fragile to me.

My personal sea-faring dream is to circumnavigate 2 continent groups: both Americas from Cape Horn to Canadian Arctic, and same with Africa-Eurasia from Hope through Russian Arctic. And then do the same with Antarctica. Then maybe hop around the most remote islands I can find. But when I wake up from that dream, I'm back on Earth and thinking when I'm going mow my lawn.

I worked on this amazing boat in the upper salon area at Alloy Yachts along with an incredibly talented and skilled team. The Gloss Flame Mahogany interior was beautiful. Working at Alloy Yachts as a Boatbuilder was the most rewarding part of my 28 years as a Boatbuilder. RIP Hammy !!

Always commented Company put more practicality in their yachts than any of the big names, and gave its owners more yacht for the money than any of the big names. Spent many happy days on his Astondoa, enjoying just that. A fine yacht for much less money. One can take the big names at any length for a little less than half the purchase price.

If I was wealthy I'd buy this yacht in a heartbeat. It's far more elegant in it's understated simplicity than any of the flashy modern offerings I'm aware of. I can picture Hemingway enjoying a pipe and an afternoon of quiet reading after a good long swim.

Why so rushed on a 177' boat ??! >16 minutes is way too short and there's way too much camera motion which takes away from the sense of space and sizes of the rooms and areas !!🤨This "tour" should be redone !!

Just noticed there isn't a swim platform or much of a transom apparently. And too bad a functional outdoor space at the bow was not part of the layout; everything just seems so aft !!

Would a fish finder work/can you have a fish finder on a ship that size? I assume if you can store that many toys it would be easy to “find the fish” and launch a fishing style boat while underway.
